A special word for you today

Psalms 3:3 (NIV)

“But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.”

The word of god assures us that in Christ Jesus we have protection and cover in the times of needs.

Note that the Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) writes “But you, Adonai, are a shield for me” And; International Children’s Bible (ICB) writes, “But, Lord, you are my shield.

Isn’t it wonderful that the LORD (Jehovah/Yahweh) Is your protector? Note the words in italics:

  • A shield around me
  • A shield for me
  • My shield

It is my prayer that the Lord will be a shield around you and for your family, may He bestow glory on you and lift up your head in Jesus’ Name.

Amen.
